I really thought my boy Dickey had a better grasp on grammar. D:
I’m going to say he’s tweeting emotionally which does nothing to help grammar.
Opening Day is on Friiiddaaayy~
This is basically the best thing I’ve ever seen.
Pagan’s misfire of a pieing on Dickey.
I love these sequence of shots. Pagan must have used whipped cream, Dickey seemed to appreciate that. Ever the professional, he just kept right on with the interview.
These pictures are great!

R.A. Dickey is my new favorite NY Met

Wherever the Mets season ends, this will forever be the year of Dickey.
Mmm, mmm, mmm. I’m an unabashed knuckleball enthusiast so there is something so gratifyingly perfect about RA Dickey pitching 8.1 shutout innings during a day game in Queens. It just feels like baseball, you know? The fact that he did it on three days rest just proves that every team should spend as much time scouring Iowa for 30 year olds with knucklers as they do in Latin America scouting phenoms. He also shut down the two headed monster that is the Pujolsiday (Or Hollijols) as they went 0-8, stranding six runners.
Ike Davis, his average down to .252, hit a big three run home run and Mike Hessman got the start as David Wright took a breather after yesterday’s 13 inning affair. One of those was more influential in the victory, but I’m going to leave that up to you to decide. (Hint: It was Hessman’s start. The dude is heart personified.)
